PRESIDENT

Fullerton, CA

Marshall B. Ketchum University, located in Fullerton, CA is pleased to announce its search for the University’s next President. Marshall B. Ketchum seeks a visionary and enterprising leader to succeed President Kevin L. Alexander and build on the incredible growth and momentum established during his 14-year tenure. This exciting opportunity is ideal for an entrepreneurial leader to reimagine the future of healthcare education and guide the institution through the many dramatic shifts projected in both higher education and the delivery of healthcare services.

The institution has earned a reputation as a student-centric university known for intimate, small classes providing one-one-mentoring, talented faculty who genuinely care about students and a track record for turning out excellent, highly competent healthcare providers.  As Marshall B. Ketchum transformed from a stand-alone Optometry School to a health science university comprised of Optometry, Physician Assistant Studies and Pharmacy, the highly regarded student centered culture remained a hallmark attracting quality students and retaining top-notch faculty.  The new President will be deeply committed to academic excellence and maintaining the culture while increasing academic programs, interprofessional education and expanding the campus’ capacity through renovation and enhancement of existing facilities.

It is required that the successful candidate hold a terminal degree, have extensive experience in administrative executive leadership in the health sciences and possess knowledge of one or more of the disciplines offered at Marshall B.
