HOSPITALIST COMPREHENSIVE OPHTHALMOLOGIST

The Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences at the University of Utah, John A. Moran Eye Center is actively seeking a hospitalist ophthalmologist, for a comprehensive clinical and surgical ophthalmology position. This position will be responsible for clinical care delivery at our main location and satellite clinics and all inpatient consults at the University of Utah Hospital. Responsibilities include resident and fellow teaching and training for inpatient consults and in the clinic and surgery. Duties will include inpatient consults, routine eye exams as well as seeing general ocular pathology. This is surgical position. Academic rank and salary will be commensurate with experience.  This is a full time clinical faculty position in an academic setting. Candidates must have completed an accredited ophthalmology residency program and should be board certified or board eligible by the American Board of Ophthalmology, and have had at least one year’s experience working as an ophthalmic hospitalist.
