The Picower Institute for Learning and Memory (PILM) (http://picower.mit.edu) at MIT in collaboration with the Department of Brain & Cognitive Sciences (BCS) (http://bcs.mit.edu) is looking to hire a tenure-track faculty at the assistant professor level or higher. The Picower Institute for Learning and Memory and the Department of Brain and Cognitive Sciences offer supportive mentorship to new faculty, an exceptional environment for scientific inquiry, and a strong commitment to an inclusive, welcoming culture. The Picower Institute for Learning and Memory is broadly interested in the brain and we strongly encourage applications from creative candidates whose research includes (but is not limited to) the study of mechanisms of brain function, plasticity, development, and/or disease at the molecular, cellular, circuit and/or systems level using cutting edge neurogenetic, molecular, electrophysiological, computational, or imaging technologies. We are especially interested in researchers who can bring diverse perspectives or innovative methods.
