Mathematics - Tenure-track Faculty

Description

The Hope College Department of Mathematics and Statistics invites applications for one tenure-track position in statistics to begin Fall 2022. Primary responsibilities include teaching introductory and intermediate statistics courses and conducting research, including research with undergraduates. Opportunities exist for training actuarial students or working with established multidisciplinary research groups. Appointment at the Assistant Professor rank is anticipated; higher ranks will be considered. Rank and salary are commensurate with qualifications and experience.

 

Qualifications

A PhD in Statistics, Applied Mathematics (with interest and expertise in statistics), or a related field is required.  Interest in data science is an advantage.
