The Deputy Chief of Staff provides executive-level communication management and college programming assistance to the President. The Deputy Chief of Staff produces presidential communications, reports, and messaging strategies in alignment with the President for internal and external audiences. The Deputy leads college programming for internal and external audiences as assigned and works to ensure the Office of the President and the College reaches strategic goals and institutional priorities. This position contributes to the office's effectiveness and efficiency by performing daily/recurring/routine organizational assignments for the President and the Chief of Staff. The Deputy provides high-quality customer service to internal and external audiences contacting and visiting the Office of the President.

Minimum Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
1. Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Communication, English, Speech, Public Relations, Marketing, Business Management, or related field.
2. Three (3) years of communications experience performing the full range of communication equivalent tasks
3. Demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills.
4. Possess excellent computer skills to include Google Suite, Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Suite, iWork applications, Zoom, Microsoft Teams and other online platforms.
5. Must demonstrate the knowledge, skills and ability to accomplish the essential duties and major accountability of the position.
