THE UNIVERSITY OF IOWA DEPARTMENT OF OTOLARYNGOLOGY is seeking applications for an Associate faculty position in audiology. Qualifications include:
- AuD degree
- An Audiology license from the State of Iowa or the ability to acquire one
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology issued by the American Boards of Examiners in Speech Pathology and Audiology of the American Speech and Hearing Association or qualifications equivalent to such certification.
Highly desirable qualifications include previous experience in audiology, fitting hearing aids and Baha systems, and counseling patients regarding the implications of hearing loss on communication and education.
