The School of Business announces an opportunity to apply for a full-time, tenure-track faculty position in Finance, to begin Fall 2022.

The successful candidate will be responsible for effective teaching, research, service, and advising. Specific responsibilities will include:

  • Primarily teaching Investments and other finance courses at introductory and advanced levels;
  • Secondarily, based upon experience or interest, teaching Financial Planning, Wealth Management and/or Insurance, with work towards a professional finance certification a plus;
  • Conducting scholarly research that leads to publication in peer-reviewed journals;
  • Integrating technology into teaching and research such as Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Excel, R, Python, and/or Tableau; and 
  • Contributing service to the college community.

Applicants must have an earned Ph.D. in Finance from an AACSB-international accredited (or equivalent) institution. ABDs will be considered only if the degree will be completed prior to the time of employment.
