Description: The Office of Human Resources Queens College is currently conducting a search for an HR Employee and Labor Relations Director. Reporting to the AVP of Human Resources, the HR Employee and Labor Relations Director performs a wide variety of duties related to employee and labor relations, including contract administration; grievance and arbitration issues; negotiation of settlements and mediation of disputes on disciplinary and contractual matters; and employee relations concerns including, but not limited to, providing definitive direction, interpretative guidance and leadership support on multiple collective bargaining agreements; preparation of investigatory documents and briefs; policy and procedure compliance; and adherence to local, state and federal laws governing employment practices.
