#605432 Assistant Professor of Physical Therapy Phoenix, AZ

A tenure track faculty member at the rank of Assistant Professor is being sought for the Doctor of Physical Therapy program on the Phoenix Biomedical Campus. Responsibilities for this position will include developing and teaching courses related to musculoskeletal physical therapy education, biomechanics, motor control or motor learning. The candidate will be expected to develop and sustain an independent research line related to the area of expertise. The successful candidate will be expected to conduct and disseminate original research, contribute to student-related activities, and serve on University-wide and professional committees.

Minimum Qualifications: 

• Eligible for licensure as a physical therapist in the state of Arizona.

• Academic doctorate degree (PhD, EdD, DSc, DrPH) in rehabilitation science, public health, health service research, exercise physiology, biomechanics, or a related field from an accredited institution. 

• Prior experience in the development, implementation, and dissemination of research projects.
