George Mason University’s School of Theater is seeking applications for Adjunct (Part-time) teaching positions. About the School:

George Mason University’s School of Theater seeks experienced Adjunct Faculty for the 2021-2022 academic year to teach undergraduate courses in Acting for the Camera and Audition Techniques for Stage and Screen. We also seek letters of interest for consideration for future opportunities to teach one or more courses in theatrical performance, design, or technical theater, including Introduction to Theater, Acting 1, Acting 2, Fundamentals of Production, Theater History, World Theater, Dramatic Theory and Criticism, Dramatic Literature, and American Voices, with a specialization in one or more cultures or communities typically underrepresented in academia (including Black, Indigenous, AAPI, Latinx, Disabled, LGBTQIA+).

 

Qualifications:

The successful candidate will have the necessary training and experience to instruct theater students in advanced work in their area of expertise. A terminal degree in Theater or Theater-related field is recommended, but not required.
