The Department of Special Education, Language, and Literacy - committed to educational equity, social justice, and collaboration across disciplines - is seeking candidates for a full-time, temporary faculty position for the Speech Pathology and Audiology major. This is a 1 year appointment that will begin in the 2021-22 academic year. This undergraduate degree program prepares students for graduate programs in Speech Pathology and Audiology.

The successful candidate will teach undergraduate courses in the areas of Speech Pathology and Audiology including (but not limited to) topics such as: Language, Speech, & Communication Development, Communication Disorders, and Phonetics. This faculty member will also act as an academic advisor for students in the Speech Pathology and Audiology Program in addition to working with contacts in the field to arrange observations and internships for students in the program.  

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech pathology or related field
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
