Assistant Director of Financial Aid

This position will manage the Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) program including frequent correspondence with students regarding SAP appeals and outcomes, preparing appeal information, and chairing the appeal committee.

This position also processes the Change of Income process including documentation gathering and review, need analysis calculations, and ISIR correction processing along with frequent correspondence with students and parents.

This position also counsels and processes system information for students studying externally through Study Abroad, consortium agreements, co-op opportunities, and transient study.

Counsels students and parents and participates in presentations and outreach for financial aid, recruitment, and/or enrollment management initiatives.

Minimum Qualifications:

Related Bachelor’s degree and at least 3 years of relevant work experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Master’s degree in Higher Education or similar field preferred.

Experience managing a large program.
