Assistant Clinical Professor, Educational Psychology - 605403

This is a 1-year non-tenure track, Assistant Clinical Professor, Educational Psychology, academic year position based in Flagstaff, Arizona in the Department of Educational Psychology. The appointment will begin Fall 2021 academic semester. This is a one-year academic appointment. The Department of Educational Psychology (EPS) is seeking to fill an Assistant Clinical Professor, Educational Psychology position at our Flagstaff Mountain campus beginning in August 2021. The EPS Department seeks candidates who possess innovative instructional methodology, experience in research and supervision, and diverse experiences and professional proficiencies. Additional expectations include excellence in teaching and mentoring diverse students. The position is a 9-month non-tenure-track faculty line.

Responsibilities: 1. Teach undergraduate and graduate classes with an educational psychology focus for the EPS programs. Possible course assignments include, but are not limited to: Educational Psychology for Educators, Human Development, Self-Management Techniques, Educational Psychology Applied to Learning, or Tests and Measurements 2. Teach in-person, with some blended or online courses to students in Flagstaff and to extended campus sites 3. Assist in recruiting and advising educational psychology students 4. Fulfill service responsibilities to the department, college, university, and the profession.

Minimum Qualifications:

1. Earned Doctorate in Educational Psychology or related field by date of hire 2. College teaching experience (can include college teaching as a graduate assistant)

FLSA Status
