Assistant to the Director

The University of Pittsburgh is seeking an Assistant to the Director of the University Counseling Center (UCC) to serve as integral member the UCC team. The incumbent is responsible for coordinating communication on behalf of the Director and managing the daily business operations of the UCC. Experience in a fast-paced virtual and in-person environments is essential; attention to detail is critical. Strong interpersonal skills required. Professional demeanor and ability to communicate with individuals at all levels required. Expert office computer skills, including Microsoft Office/Apps, along with strong financial and project management skills are necessary for success. The incumbent will work closely with high-level leaders throughout the University Community and external stakeholders. The Assistant to the Director will have the opportunity to serve on committees within and outside of the Center as required. Bachelor’s degree preferred or five years university related work experience; -Progressive experience as a staff member in a Counseling Center or behavioral health organization; -Ability to work collaboratively and autonomously with internal and external partners -Strong written and oral communication skills are required along with critical discretion, decision making, and analytic abilities. -Progressive experience assisting with the management of business operations for a University Counseling Center or behavioral health organization,
