Reconstructive Microsurgeon at The Ohio State University
The Department of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at The Ohio State University is seeking dynamic individuals with expertise in reconstructive microsurgery with an interest in breast reconstruction, lymphedema, limb salvage and complex oncologic reconstruction. Leadership opportunities are available for those with experience.
• MD or DO
• Successful completion of a Plastic Surgery Residency
• Additional experience and/or sub-specialty fellowship training in Microsurgery is desired.
• American Plastic Surgery Board Certified or Board Eligible
• Faculty rank and compensation commensurate with experience and qualifications.
About the Department:
The Department of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery has 16 full-time faculty, 5 faculty at Nationwide Children’s Hospital and 9 community faculty who are committed to the tripartite mission of clinical excellence, research and education. Our Division of Microsurgery has 6 surgeons and 7 physician assistants. We have 2 microsurgery fellow positions as well. Our independent residency has 3 residents and our integrated residency program recently expanded to 18 residents in 2020. We are a referral center for central Ohio to provide comprehensive Plastic Surgery at the Wexner Medical Center and the James Comprehensive Cancer Center of The Ohio State University.
