Indiana State University's Office of Information Technology has an immediate opening for a Broadcast Engineer with in-depth knowledge and experience supporting enterprise class radio and TV broadcast systems such as radio and TV production and transmission equipment, and fiber optic infrastructure.  This exciting position works with a team of dedicated, customer focused professionals to provide reliable, high performing, and secure broadcast systems for the University.  In addition to working with contemporary broadcast equipment in a fast paced environment, this position offers a great benefits package including employer retirement contribution, dependent tuition assistance and access to the university health/recreation center.

The person in this position designs and develops documentation as well as analyzes systems during the development of computer based solutions for various departments throughout campus, provides project leadership and technical assistance in the implementation of complex broadcast systems and daily maintenance of such systems.  The person must have the ability to effectively diagnose problems and provide quick solutions to technical problems.

Required Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, communications, management, journalism or a field related to the position with more than 4 years of full time, job related experience.
