Assistant Teaching Professor in Biomedical Engineering

The Francis College of Engineering is searching for outstanding candidates to fill several full-time tenure-track, tenured, teaching, and visiting faculty positions. The college includes 130 faculty members, 30% of whom are women, and has over 3,000 undergraduate and 1,000 graduate students.
 
Successful applicants will have opportunities to collaborate in research and teaching with faculty across our six departments. We value excellence and innovation in curriculum design and courses that promote experiential learning and professional skills for our students.
 
The Biomedical Engineering Department seeks teaching faculty with expertise in physiology and bioinstrumentation, who can also contribute to other areas of the curriculum as needed.

Minimum Qualifications: 

  • Applicants must have earned a doctoral degree in Biomedical Engineering, or closely related disciplines.

 Candidates with experience in engineering education and design of effective and inclusive pedagogical approaches will be given strong consideration.
