Miami University invites nominations and applications for the new position of Associate Provost and Dean of Undergraduate Education.

The Associate Provost and Dean of Undergraduate Education (Dean) will serve as the campus-wide leader for undergraduate education and promote excellence in all areas of undergraduate education. By working collaboratively with internal and external partners, the Dean will not only ensure Miami remains a visible leader in undergraduate education and maintains its reputation and standing as a nationally recognized, student-centered public research university, but will also set a new and higher standard for undergraduate education and teacher commitment to student learning. The Dean will drive success on key strategic goals related to undergraduate education and will help articulate new priorities and strategic goals to continuously improve all aspects of Miami. As a member of the Provost and Executive Vice President's leadership team, the Dean serves as the campus-wide expert and leader for undergraduate education and promotes excellence in all areas of undergraduate education.

Miami seeks an exceptional leader with a strong record of academic accomplishment, collaboration, and a forward-looking vision. The Dean shall possess significant leadership experience in undergraduate academic programs and a trajectory of increasing responsibility in administrative positions. The Dean shall also have a PhD or other relevant terminal degree, with a record of scholarship to qualify for the rank of full professor with tenure within an academic unit of the University.
