Assistant Professor, Associate Professor or Professor in the Urogynecology Division


OBSTETRICS & GYNECOLOGIC FACULTY: Wright State University, OB/Gyn Department seeks an Assistant Professor, Associate Professor or Professor in the Urogynecology Division. Duties include participation in direct patient care activities, specifically Urogynecology; participating in education/supervising medical students/residents in various settings including inpatient work, Labor & Delivery, OR and outpatient clinics. Additional time will be made available to conduct research & administrative activities.

REQUIRED PROFESSIONAL LICENSE OR CERTIFICATES: 1. M.D. or D.O. degree; 2. Able to obtain an unrestricted Medical License and practice in Ohio; 3. DEA Registration Number; 4. Completed 4-year OB/Gyn residency by start date; 5. Completed ABOG-accredited Urogynecology fellowship by start date; 6. Obtained ABOG Obstetrics/Gynecology certification. 7. ABOG FMPRS board candidate by start date.
Assistant Professor rank must meet the REQUIRED PROFESSIONAL LICENSE OR CERTIFICATES prior to the start date of employment and also be 1. American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology certified and 2. have 2-5 years of experience in an academic environment and 2-5 years clinical experience.
Associate Professor rank must meet the REQUIRED PROFESSIONAL LICENSE OR CERTIFICATES prior to the start date of employment and also be 1. American Board of certified in both Obstetrics and Gynecology & Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery certified, and 2. have 5-7 years of experience in an academic environment and 5-7 years clinical experience.
Professor rank must meet the REQUIRED PROFESSIONAL LICENSE OR CERTIFICATES prior to the start date of employment and also be. American Board of certified in both Obstetrics and Gynecology & Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery certified, and 2. have 7 or more years of experience in an academic environment and 7 or more years clinical experience.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: 1. Candidate possesses interest and ability in clinical and classroom education; 2. Interest in clinical/translational research; 3. Desire to pursue administrative role within the department.  4. Candidate should be able and willing to participate in clinical education and production through coverage of obstetrics and gynecology night, weekend and holiday call duties on a negotiated basis; 5. Candidate should be able and willing to provide intermittent supervision of resident outpatient obstetrics and gynecology clinics.
