The Division of Hematology/Oncology (http://med.ucsd.edu) in the Department of Medicine at University of California, San Diego is committed to academic excellence and diversity within the faculty, staff, and student body and is actively recruiting a clinical investigator in genitourinary oncology.

The candidate will be expected to help further develop an outstanding clinical research program in genitourinary oncology. Individuals with a track record of successful clinical trials leadership, translational research, or outcomes research and with a commitment to excellence in patient care are encouraged to apply. The individual will participate in the clinical programs and educational activities of the Division.

Candidates must have an MD and be board certified/eligible in Medical Oncology and must have or be eligible for a California medical license or equivalent certification/permit as determined by the Medical Board of California.

The appropriate series and appointment at the Assistant, Associate of Full Professor level will be based on the candidate's qualifications and experience.

Salary is commensurate with qualifications and based on the University of California pay scales. Appointments may require candidates to be self-funded. As a member of the Health Sciences Compensation Plan, the appointee should be aware that there are limitations on outside professional activities and clinical moonlighting is expressly prohibited.
