Assistant Professor of Special Education

Grand Valley State University seeks an Assistant Professor in Special Education. Applicants must have a Doctorate in Special Education or closely related field by August 2021; ABD applicants will be considered if doctorate is to be completed by August 2022. Additionally, applicants must have: demonstrated ability to teach courses related to students with autism spectrum disorder, emotional disturbance, intellectual disability, and/or learning disability; a record of successful teaching or school-based experience at the PK-12 level with students with disabilities; demonstrated potential for teaching at the university level; and a record of scholarship or potential for scholarship.
