Full-Time Instructor of Electrical and Computer Engineering

The Engineering and Technology department at University of Wisconsin Stout (www.uwstout.edu) invites applications for a full-time instructor to prepare career-ready engineers and engineering technologists through hands-on learning experiences. The successful candidate will be expected to teach in all areas of foundation courses in Computer and Electrical Engineering and Engineering Technology programs. Areas of particular interest include circuit analysis and design, electronics, programmable logic controllers, electrical machine and controls, power electronics, and capstone/senior design course, but other areas in computer and electrical engineering will also be considered. The appointment is full time with intent to renew and the anticipated start date is August 20, 2021.

The position requires a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related discipline with two (2) or more years of industry or laboratory work history. To be considered, candidates must have the ability to teach in a lecture/lab environment and excellent English communication skills. A bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related discipline with experience working in a collaborative environment is preferred.
