This Science Reference Librarian position will serve as the liaison librarian to Chemistry and Molecular & Biomedical Sciences, as well as some other disciplines. As a member of the Reference & Information Literacy Department, they will also be part of a team providing in-person and online general reference service, as well as information literacy instruction, both credit-bearing and course specific. The position also allows opportunities to participate in campus and state-wide committees.
The successful candidate will have experience with reference service, evidence of information literacy instruction experience, experience creating web guides and/or tutorials, a clear understanding of the information needs of the members of a university community, and the ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing. Subject experience with medical materials is also preferred.
