The College of Business at The University of Alabama in Huntsville invites applications for a tenure track position in management science with an emphasis in business analytics at the assistant professor level.
We seek applicants who welcome the challenges and rewards of serving on a diverse and intellectually curious faculty of a growing college located in a dynamic and supportive high technology community.

Responsibilities: Conduct and publish high quality scholarly research in a collegial environment in which both intra- and inter-disciplinary collaborations are valued. Teach management science and analytics- related courses in graduate and undergraduate programs in face-to-face or online modes as needed by the college. Participate actively in the profession, university service and outreach to the local community, including U.S. federal government agencies with operations in the Huntsville area.

A PhD in Management Science, Business Analytics or a closely related field is required. A PhD from an AACSB accredited institution is preferred. Ability to teach graduate and undergraduate management science courses with an emphasis on statistics and data analytics in a business context is required. We prefer candidates who have a strong academic background, the ability to conduct research that is publishable in high quality journals, a commitment to excellence in graduate and undergraduate education, and the potential to engage in projects with companies and organizations in the community. The successful candidate must be eligible to hold U.S. security clearance as a condition of employment. ABD candidates will be considered; however, all requirements for the doctoral degree must be completed by August 1, 2021 to be appointed at the rank of Assistant Professor.
