Assistant Professor, Supply Chain Management

The University of Northern Iowa's Department of Management seeks applications for a tenure-track position as Assistant Professor of Supply Chain Management, starting August 2021. Primary teaching responsibilities will be undergraduate supply chain and operations management courses. Additional teaching assignments might include related topics and courses in the MBA program. The successful candidate must hold a Ph.D. in Supply Chain Management or a related business field from a nationally or internationally recognized AACSB accredited university doctoral program. Similar ABDs with evidence of degree completion by August 2021 will be given full consideration. Record of excellence in teaching; demonstrated ability to produce publishable research in business-related journals; and demonstrated organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills required.

Preference will be given to candidates with a secondary interest in Logistics; evidence of publishable research specifically in supply chain management; research interest with a focus on supply chain management issues associated with minority-owned businesses is a plus; relevant business experience; a record of supporting women and underrepresented minorities in the field of supply chain management; and active participation in appropriate professional associations.
