The Department of Mathematics at the University of California, Berkeley invites applications for one or more Morrey Visiting Assistant Professor positions, with an expected start date of July 1, 2021.

The appointment term is at full-time for three years, with an annual salary of $71,500. Duties include conducting research and teaching three single semester courses per year, usually at the upper-division and graduate levels.

Applicants must have completed all Ph.D. (or equivalent international degree) requirements, except the dissertation, by the time of application. A Ph.D. (or equivalent international degree) is required by the start date of the job. Preference will be given to candidates at the early stage of their careers, and to candidates with a Ph.D. in Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, or a related field.
