Assistant Professor in Information Technology Management

The Sheldon B. Lubar School of Business at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee (UWM) invites applications for an Assistant Professor in Information Technology Management to begin in Fall 2021.

The primary responsibilities of this position will be to provide high-quality research for publication in top-tier business journals and demonstrate teaching excellence in the Lubar School.  Additionally, the selected candidate will contribute to the mission of the Lubar School by engaging with, mentoring, and advising students, by providing service to the area, School, and University through committee service and other shared governance activities, and by enhancing the School’s strong linkages to the business community.

Qualified candidates will possess a Ph.D. in Business or a closely related field, majoring in Information Technology Management/Management Information Systems or a closely related area, or anticipate completion by August 2021.  Required qualifications include the potential for high-impact research and a strong interest in teaching courses in Information Technology Management.  Preference will be given to candidates with demonstrated skills in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Cloud Computing, or Internet of Things; a demonstrated track record of research as evidenced by acceptance in high-quality journals and conferences; excellent communication skills as evidenced by teaching evaluations, along with an ability to work collegially and collaboratively within the university and the business community.  Candidates seeking full consideration must apply at  https://jobs.uwm.edu/postings/30264 and submit application materials electronically to address the Required and Preferred Qualifications in their application materials by Oct. 31^st, 2020.
