The occupant will serve as Department Chairperson for a 3-year, renewable term beginning July 2021. The successful candidate will possess a continuing commitment to effective undergraduate teaching, to a well-established research agenda, and to academic service.<br /> &nbsp;</p> <p>As Department Chairperson, the candidate will provide leadership to a department with 10 full-time tenured and tenure track members. Teaching assignments may include introductory courses as well as upper division courses.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Minimum qualifications</strong>: Ph.D. in Computer Science or related field from an accredited institution. Five years of tenure-line faculty teaching and research experience.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Employer will consider sponsorship.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Preferred qualifications: </strong>Three years of academic department, college or university administrative experience; experience as chairperson of an academic department or Assistant/Associate Dean of a college; substantial record of research and publication in own area(s) of specialization; demonstrated excellence in teaching.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Apply online at: <a href=""></a>.
