Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs

The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (UNC) invites applications and nominations for the search for a Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs.  The University seeks a proven leader who can provide vision, leadership, and direction to the Division of Student Affairs in supporting the academic mission of the University.  The Vice Chancellor serves as the chief spokesperson and advocate for the Division both within and outside of the University, and ensures that the Division serves as a vital resource and component to the institution. 

The University is seeking a dynamic leader who brings passion, an understanding of the convergent activities that fuel the success of students and student affairs, and an entrepreneurial mindset.  This individual should have a bold leadership approach and be personally committed to the success and well-being of all students. The Vice Chancellor must have demonstrated significant achievement in leadership and administration within a complex environment comparable to UNC.

Preference will be given to candidates with a terminal degree in higher education, student affairs, or a closely related field.
