Infectious Diseases physician at the rank of Associate

The University of Iowa Department of Internal Medicine/Division of Infectious Diseases is seeking a board-eligible or board-certified Infectious Diseases physician at the rank of Associate. Individuals under consideration must have a M.D. or equivalent degree and must have completed subspecialty training in Infectious Diseases.  Candidates must have already gained acceptance into the Veterans Affairs Quality Scholars (VAQS) program. This position is not eligible for employer-sponsored authorization – sponsorship for H1B status.

This position will involve continued participation in the VAQS Program, including providing both inpatient and outpatient general ID consultations at the Iowa City VA hospital and at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics.  Candidates must have an interest in teaching and clinical care in an Academic setting.
