Particular emphasis will be placed on work involving diverse populations (e.g., variability by race/ethnicity, socioeconomic status, language/dialect, gender, or sexual identity). Relevant research areas include the nature of normal and disordered cognition and communication in older adults as well as interventions for those at risk for or suffering from dementia or other age-related disorders.
