Dean, College of Nursing and Health Sciences

Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi (TAMU-CC) invites nominations and applications for the position of dean of the College of Nursing and Health Sciences. The next dean will play a critical role in helping a growing college ensure high-quality academic offerings; explore new programmatic offerings and modes of delivery; and build a cohesive and robust faculty that care deeply about teaching, scholarship and service. The dean will be expected to build strong relationships in the college, university and community.

The College of Nursing and Health Sciences enrolls more than 2,000 students and employs 49 full-time faculty across a range of academic programs that have been repeatedly recognized for excellence. Additionally, the Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) program is the fourth largest in the State of Texas and has been ranked in the top 10 for Best Online Education Programs by U.S. News & World Report. The DNP program was ranked 14th by Registerednursing.org. The college is housed in a new facility which includes state-of-the-art nursing simulation laboratories.
