Artist Teacher of Clarinet (Full-time, tenure track)

Teach clarinet at the undergraduate, graduate, and artist diploma levels; attract and maintain a high quality clarinet studio through teaching and performing activities; continue/expand professional performance to achieve national visibility; possibility of teaching in a secondary areas according to both the candidate’s interests and the needs of the School as defined by the Director of the School of Music; participate in departmental activities including solo and collaborative performing and other activities appropriate for a faculty member at a major research university. Qualifications: Doctorate required. High-level performing ability, demonstrable success in teaching clarinet at the college level, promise for national and international recognition as a performer and teacher. Demonstrated ability to recruit undergraduate and graduate clarinet music majors.
