Associate Vice President for Enrollment Management

It now seeks an experienced enrollment manager to serve as its next associate vice president for enrollment management (AVP) to move the university forward and transform its future.

The associate vice president for enrollment management will play a key role in sculpting San Diego State University's future success. Reporting to the provost and senior vice president for academic affairs and serving on the academic affairs senior leadership team, and other critical campus committees, the associate vice president provides leadership for the development, implementation, communication and ongoing assessment of comprehensive and strategic enrollment plans.

The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable about emerging national and international trends; bring vision, innovation, and significant strategic and analytical capacity to develop a sophisticated and nuanced approach to enrollment management; and have experience in implementing strategies to achieve institutional goals. The AVP will be a strong manager, leader and collaborator who is adept at implementing change and forging collaborative partnerships with senior leaders and others across the university. Marketing savvy, political acumen and strong communication skills will be important assets for the AVP to effectively engage a wide array of constituents and articulate SDSU's distinctiveness and plans for the future.
