Clinical Professor of Marketing

The Cox School of Business at Southern Methodist University is seeking candidates for a non- tenure-track Clinical Professor of Marketing position, at all levels of experience, for Fall 2020. The primary focus of this position is to teach required and elective marketing courses in the school’s undergraduate and graduate business degree programs. Additional responsibilities include outreach to the business community, mentoring and advising students, participating in curriculum development, and other activities in support of the educational mission of the University.  Further information about the marketing department at SMU can be found here https://www.smu.edu/cox/Learning-Culture/Academic-Departments/Marketing.

A graduate degree is required and preference will be given to those who have earned a doctoral degree in marketing or related discipline. Demonstrated success in teaching marketing courses is also desirable. Given the department’s strategic emphasis on data analytics, candidates should be comfortable teaching quantitative material to all levels of students. Extensive experience working in industry, and/or the ability to draw upon resources in the business community is also highly valued.
