Nevada Humanities Seeks a Program Manager to Join Its Las Vegas Office

Nevada Humanities (NH) – a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, independent state partner of the National Endowment for the Humanities – seeks a full-time Program Manager in its Las Vegas, NV, office to develop innovative public humanities-based cultural programs in Nevada. NH seeks a person with excellent writing and oral communication skills who has an understanding of the transformative power of humanities experiences to enrich our lives with knowledge, meaning, and understanding, and demonstrated interest in working with audiences and community partners of varied social, economic, and educational backgrounds. Duties include: producing public humanities programs, building diverse constituencies, developing statewide partnerships, undertaking resource development, representing NH in local and national contexts, and participating in marketing/communications activities. Routine travel and occasional evening and weekend availability are required. NH collaborates with the University of Nevada, Reno (UNR) to provide human resource services for its employees; this position serves as Administrative Faculty for UNR.
