Marymount seeks a progressive and accomplished leader who will capitalize on the existing momentum of the University to grow enrollment and enhance student success.

Marymount University is an independent, comprehensive university offering bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral degrees in a wide range of disciplines and serving more than 3,400 undergraduate and graduate students. The University, founded in 1950 by the Religious of the Sacred Heart of Mary, was, and remains, Virginia's only Catholic university and the only university headquartered in Arlington. Originally a two-year women's college, Marymount is fully coeducational and emphasizes experiential learning rooted in a fine liberal arts tradition.

Reporting to President Becerra, the Vice President of Enrollment Management and Student Affairs (VPEMSA) is an inaugural position that provides leadership for enrollment management and all student services of the University. This position is responsible for the identification, development, and support of strategies and initiatives that facilitate the capacity of the University to meet its enrollment goals and to provide comprehensive services to students, including the requisite allocation of fiscal, physical, and personnel resources. The Vice President will be expected to address the following challenges and opportunities: developing and executing a comprehensive enrollment management plan appropriate to Marymount’s mission and strategic direction; focusing on students and their success; integrating the newly formed partnership between enrollment management and student affairs; leveraging the talents and resources of campus partners in a University-wide effort to attract and retain Marymount students; mentoring, developing, and retaining the exceptional and committed staff within; defining an innovative high-level strategy and guiding daily operations with the use of data-driven decision making; and forwarding a culture of diversity and inclusion.

A minimum of a master’s degree is required; a doctoral degree is preferred. In addition, the successful candidate will have at least ten years of progressive responsibility in enrollment management, and significant experience in student affairs is preferred.
