Assistant Professor - History (African Diaspora)

The Department of History and Philosophy at Rider University seeks applications for a tenure track position in the history of the African diaspora, including Africa and Latin America and/or the Caribbean.  Ability to teach African American History also desirable.  The successful applicant will be expected to teach undergraduate courses in his or her specialized fields and possibly a world history survey on a 3-3 teaching load.  PhD required.  Evidence of commitment to undergraduate teaching as well as successful teaching experience are essential.
