Description

The UCLA School of Dentistry invites applications for a full-time, non-tenure track faculty position at the level of Health Sciences Assistant or Associate Clinical Professor in the Section of Pediatric Dentistry. This full-time, clinical track position is available immediately and the search will remain open until the position has been filled.

Responsibilities will include didactic teaching and clinical supervision at both the pre-doctoral and post-doctoral student levels in the various clinical setting/educational activities in which the Section participates. An opportunity for part-time intramural or extramural private practice will also be available.

In addition to the qualifications described above, a track record of outstanding patient care is desirable, as well as demonstration of or likely commitment to diversity related teaching/research/service. Some level of scholarly activity or demonstration of clinical expertise is necessary for professional advancement. Salary is commensurate with education and experience.

Applicants must possess: (1) a DMD/DDS degree or equivalent, (2) a California dental license (or be eligible to obtain), (3) the completion of a Pediatric Dentistry residency program accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA), and (4) be board certified or board eligible candidate in Pediatric Dentistry.
