Senior Assistant Director for Admissions Operations

RESPONSIBILITIES: The Senior Assistant Director for Operations is responsible for supporting the operational and technical functions of Undergraduate Admissions, including the processing and review of more than 30,000 undergraduate admissions applications and their associated supporting materials annually. The incumbent supports office leadership in the continuous evaluation of system tools and serves as a subject matter expert for Undergraduate Admissions in the development of strategies to leverage technology and systems that meet recruitment, admission, and yield needs. This position manages technical operations for Undergraduate Admissions, including the procurement and support of technology equipment and software. The senior assistant director reports to the director for admissions operations and serves as a point of contact in their absence. The senior assistant director for operations manages, supervises, and coordinates work plans for a team of classified records managers with ownership for one or more significant components of the application life-cycle. This position serves as an active member of the Undergraduate Admissions recruitment team.

 QUALIFICATIONS: A minimum of a bachelor’s degree. A minimum of 3 years of related work experience and a minimum of 1 year of supervisory or managerial experience required. Advanced and continued knowledge of technology. Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical personnel and to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing. Strong project management skills. Must hold a valid driver’s license, and have the ability to travel independently overnight. Master’s degree preferred. Experience with PeopleSoft, OnBase, Oracle Business Intelligence, Microsoft Exchange and Office, and/or Active Directory preferred. Experience with Technolutions Slate or similar CRM system preferred. Proficiency in SQL and working knowledge of HTML preferred.
