Social Studies Coordinator

The History Department at Minnesota State University, Mankato invites applications for a one-year, fixed-term position as Social Studies Coordinator (AA20080) in the History Department. Duties include assisting the Social Studies Director in program development; advising; developing recruitment and retention strategies with focus on first-generation and under-represented student populations; serving as History Department Concurrent Enrollment Coordinator; and teaching up to eleven credits per year, primarily in U.S. History, nineteenth-century U.S. History, and/or Social Studies Education. Required qualifications include an earned a Master’s Degree in History; and a minimum of two (2) years of educational experience working with middle or high school students.
