Assistant Professor of Professional Practice in Nursing

 

Texas Christian University’s Harris College of Nursing and Health Sciences (HCNHS) invites applications for a 12-month position as an Assistant Professor of Professional Practice in Nursing. Minimum requirement is the MSN, with preference given to individuals who have completed the DNP or PhD. Educational preparation and clinical expertise in medical-surgical, critical care, and administrative/leadership preferred. Preference also given to candidates with experience in clinical teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels, clinical placement management, and experience as a Primary Nurse Planner for continuing education programs. Candidates must hold or obtain a current, valid, unencumbered license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of Texas. Salary is commensurate with education and experience.
