The University of Minnesota seeks nominations and invites applications for the position of Executive Vice President and Provost (EVPP).
About the Position: The EVPP is the Chief Academic Officer of the University of Minnesota multi‐campus system and Provost for the Twin Cities campus. The EVPP will work in partnership with the University’s incoming President Joan T. A. Gabel, to advance the University’s global reputation for academic excellence and discovery. Serving to elevate and inspire University-wide innovations towards delivery on its mission, responsibilities include promotion and tenure systemwide, curricular review, accreditation, and academic policy and planning for all colleges and schools that report to the EVPP on the Twin Cities campus, as well as all central student and academic support units. The EVPP has responsibility for issues concerning academic affairs, faculty development, student affairs, academic policies, institutional accountability, and undergraduate, graduate and professional education across the University of Minnesota system.
