Albizu University seeks a leader who will position the campus to be an international leader in academic innovation, research, and community service, promoting diversity to generate a transformative social impact. The Chancellor of the Miami campus reports directly to the University President.

The University’s mission is to educate professionals in the behavioral sciences, speech pathology, and other disciplines who are committed to research, to improving quality of life, and to serving diverse communities. The Miami campus was established in 1980 and is located in the city of Doral in Miami-Dade County, Florida. Fully accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education and licensed by the Commission for Independent Education of the Florida Department of Education, the campus offers bachelor, master, doctoral degrees and certificate programs in the fields of psychology, speech and language, education, ESOL, criminal justice and human services. There are 102 full-time faculty, administrators, and professional staff with another 83 adjunct faculty and part-time staff. The campus has a $13 million annual operating budget. The Position

The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated ability to lead a complex organization during a period of new opportunity and change and have at least 7 years of senior-level administrative experience in higher education. The ability to manage, maintain and enhance the fiscal resources of the Campus is a must as are skills in enrollment management at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. All this will be accomplished within an environment that is committed to and respects the principles of shared governance as a means to maintain the highest levels of academic excellence and high quality teaching.
