Harper-Bourne Chair of Excellence and Director of Graduate Programs

Position Summary:

We seek an exceptional, experienced faculty member in any business discipline to be the Harper-Bourne Chair of Excellence and Director of Graduate Programs for the College of Business. Rank could be at the Professor, Associate Professor, or Assistant Professor level based on experience.

The Harper-Bourne Chair of Excellence is one of two endowed Chairs of Excellence within the College of Business. This position will be responsible for providing faculty management of the college’s graduate program, including the development of a new MBA. The college’s new MBA program will be targeted towards working professionals in the Nashville and Clarksville metropolitan areas.

Salary is competitive and commensurate with experience.

Required Qualifications:

  • Earned doctorate in any Business discipline from an AACSB-accredited institution and appropriate intellectual contributions to maintain Scholarly Academic (SA) status under College of Business policy.
  • Experience in leading or teaching in an MBA program at an AACSB-accredited institution.
  • Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the requirements of AACSB accreditation.
  • A background search will be required of the successful applicant.
