Assistant Professor, Biological Sciences

Biological Sciences (Hamilton Campus):  Tenure-track Assistant Professor in physiology to teach courses and laboratories in human anatomy, physiology and other related courses; advise students; maintain an active research program; provide service to the institution.  Position begins August 2019. 

The Department of Biological Sciences is composed of faculty committed to teaching their students, maintaining active research programs, and providing professional service. Faculty supervise student research, serve on graduate committees collaborate with other Miami faculty and are committed to diversity and inclusive excellence. Start-up funds and opportunities to work with graduate students will be provided. The department offers a BS degree in Applied Biology and maintains productive collaborations with colleagues in several main-campus departments.

Require:  Ph.D. in Physiology, Biology, or a related field by date of appointment.  

Consideration may be given to candidates with prior teaching experience in anatomy or physiology at the college level.
