President of the University of Minnesota

Reporting to the Board of Regents, the President of the University of Minnesota holds a unique role as both leader of the flagship Twin Cities campus as well as head of the five campus University of Minnesota System. The president guides the Board in shaping a vision for the system and executes strategies to achieve excellence in fulfilling the University’s three-part, land-grant mission. As one of the state’s most prominent public leaders, the president also serves as an important advocate for education.
