Educational Psychology Assistant Professor

Educational Psychology:  Tenure-track Assistant Professor to teach disability studies; maintain an active research agenda; advise students; and provide service to the institution. Position begins Fall semester of the 2019-20 academic year.

 

Require: Ph.D. or Ed.D in Disability Studies or in a field of study with an emphasis on disability studies by the start date. 

 

Consideration may be given to candidates with professional work experience or research grounded in disability justice; teaching experience in higher education; prior engagement in service to the field within the discipline of disability studies; or expertise in disability studies in education.

 

This position has the potential to be part of a cluster or cohort hire of faculty in The College of Education, Health and Society for successful diverse candidates whose critical research, teaching and/or service connects to a theme of promoting Socially Just Communities (e.g., participatory community research, mutually beneficial university-community partnerships including community engagement, service learning, and collaborations with clinical/practice courses/training) consistent with our Initiative for Community Justice and Wellbeing.
