Indiana University of Pennsylvania (IUP), one of the largest universities in the Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education, is seeking candidates for the position of Dean of the College of Health and Human Services (HHS). The dean will be an inspiring and successful professional who will provide visionary leadership and overall academic, administrative and financial management of the College. The new dean is expected to assume office in the summer of 2019.

The College of Health and Human Services serves the public interest by providing a quality education to prepare students for applied professional disciplines. Graduates will affirm high personal and professional standards, provide leadership, and be committed to creating and advancing knowledge in their disciplines. The College of HHS is comprised of approximately 160 faculty members within nine diverse academic departments:
• criminology and criminal justice
• culinary arts
• employment and labor relations
• food and nutrition
• hospitality management
• human development, fashion, & interior design
• kinesiology, health, and sport science
• nursing and allied health professions
• safety sciences

IUP offers a rich variety of study options, including more than 140 undergraduate degree programs combining rigorous classroom work with internships, education abroad, research, and other experiential learning opportunities. Approximately 60 graduate degrees and certifications are also offered through six of the colleges, including 15 doctoral degrees. IUP is the only university within PASSHE to offer the PhD degree.
