American Politics, Comparative Politics and Political Theory Junior Faculty Position
The UCLA Department of Political Science invites applications from outstanding candidates for a junior faculty position, to begin July 1, 2019. We are particularly interested in applicants who specialize in American Politics, Comparative Politics, or Comparative Political Theory/Political Theory & Race and Ethnicity, although we will also consider especially strong applications from candidates working in other fields and (pending administrative approval) at senior ranks. The online application should include: a letter of interest, curriculum vitae, statement of research interests, the aforementioned diversity statement, evidence of teaching excellence in related courses, at least one writing sample, graduate transcript, and three letters of recommendation. The letters of recommendation should be uploaded directly by the referees. Appointments will be effective July 1, 2019. PhD in Political Science or related field in hand prior to the appointment. To ensure full consideration, the online application should be completed by September 15, 2018. Applications will be accepted, however, until the position is filled.
